This particular piece was made from made from unknown 3 inch slab of live edge tree trunk; for a very good friend who wanted something original for her husband for Christmas. Milled to be 3 inches thick, and adorned with 3 black steel hair pin legs, with the chess board painted by the client, the chessboard now resides at the family cabin. Perfect as an end table as well as functional for all those who reckon they can beat Yuri Kasparov or Big Blue!
